arpan2308 Yeah, just plug the cable in, transfer from/to an SSD. Useful for large files like movies, videos in general and stuff like that. Transfer speeds are about 45 MB/s on average to and from my 3a to my T7 Shield SSD, so roughly 2.7 GB to transfer in one minute. No internet connection needed. But they are also 1 GB/s both read and write to transfer from/to my PC when I plug that SSD into it.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, cloud storage is definitely useful and it has its purpose, but you quickly get to a point where you pay more than you can get on your own by using one or multiple external SSDs or by building your own private cloud solution, especially if you use cloud to store large videos there. After all, cloud storage is just a space you rent on someone else’s disk, Google in this case, it’s not a storage you truly own so if you need something but you don’t have an internet access at that given moment…
I, personally, have an 8/128 3a, and I don’t really play anything but Tsuki Odyssey (literally the only game on my phone). Google Photos for photos, and large/larger vids I just quickly dump to my SSD about once per week, always plenty of free storage to use (camera can also write directly to external SSD, btw, so if you want to record something very large, like 200+ GB large, you can do it easily that way).

But given the fact how mobile games quickly go up in their size I can see 256 GB as being the minimum in no time for those people who enjoy mobile gaming. Everything else, when cache gets filled up, say Instagram, just clear cache here and there for those top 5 largest apps on your phone and you will quickly recover a lot of free space.
