Phone (3a) Pro audio problem with DACs and some APPs

So recently my Phone 3a pro, while playing local music files, produced a loud static noise and distorted the audio horribly, only a short while after I plugged in the DAC and started playing.

Through some testing, I found out it happens when I play local files through Poweramp or AIMP, and when I stream through Spotify, but streaming audio through Firefox browser or qobuz, and playing local files through Musicolet work just fine.

my DACs are Fiio KA17 and ifi hip-dac 3, both showed this problem on the Phone 3a pro, but they always work fine on any other of my devices.

I have the same problem with moondrop dusk dsp cable, but it doesn’t happen to my qudelix 5k.

I noticed that if the app (Spotify in my case) stays in the foreground or in the popped out view, the music plays fine, but once it’s backgrounded in any way, like many others have brought up, I get static which will cut off music even if it’s still playing.

I wonder if nothing os does something with managing backgrounded apps that’s causing this issue, or if it’s the DSP cables that’s not playing nice with that app state.
