There is a persistent and frustrating issue with the phone’s camera when used inside third-party apps.
The camera fails to properly focus when trying to capture photos directly from within apps such as:
Digital wallet apps during KYC verification – the camera produces blurry images of documents, resulting in failed verification attempts.
Facebook Stories using Facebook Lite – when using the in-app camera to post stories, the image remains out of focus and unclear.
This issue clearly indicates a problem with the camera’s auto-focus functionality when accessed through third-party applications, making the phone unreliable for basic use cases like KYC submissions and social media updates.
I’ve tested this with multiple apps, and the problem remains consistent. However, using the native camera app manually to take a photo first (and then uploading) gives slightly better results, but that’s not possible in apps that require real-time in-app photo capture.
Please drop some update if other CMF Phone 2 pro users also faced the same issue or am i the only one to have this issue?
