Google Play system update is from 2024

I checked the Google play system update on my Nothing Phone (3a) and it says "July 1st 2024". It seems that there has to be a mistake. Can someone please help me? JP I got the November update last night, checked earlier and got the January one 😀

Both my NP3 and 3a got the Jan 2026 Play System update just this morning. It’s strange to see the variances here.

I’ve checked, I am still on November but if it changes will update here. This is CMF2P and 3a.

Womey you’ll be receiving that in coming days… it’s delay from google side…

Apparently, this is a bug. Users not only from Nothing devices but Pixels as well are reading as being November even after patching. Google is aware and is working on a fix for Android devices

Womey yup… there are multiple threads about this on reddit also… Samsung google vivo oppo nothing…almost all major brands

This issue isn’t limited to Nothing. Samsung devices are experiencing it too. Many S24 and S25 series phones (including mine) are still on the July 2025 Google Play system update. Since Google manages these updates, it’s not completely under the manufacturer’s control.

I cannot explain these differences but NP3 is on Jan 2026

Phone 3a was on Dec 2025 but i clicked update and it updated to Jan 2026
