NikhilB_wc7ZiuSXVw I was using nothing gallery when it was launched I loved it so I think nothing should create a system like gmail account where we can store our photos files if we buy new product so that easily get photos and files like carlpei@nothing.com, i think it could help to build a huge ecosystem for users , if you like the idea thank you….

As CBO I relayed the Gallery sentiment and desire for more features to the board during my first meeting, so I’m sure many users are happy to see these features being released 🙌 Looking forward to trying out the editing features myself with them being optimised for Nothing devices specifically
PinoLY adbo I just updated the Gallery app, and I didn’t find any new features optimized for NOTHING devices—just the basic functions like rotate, crop, adjust brightness or contrast, and a few filters… there’s not even a pen or brush to write or underline with. I really don’t get all this enthusiasm!
Pranshu adbo @Rob ⚡️ can you also ask them about the categorise feature, it doesn’t categories anything for me, sometimes 1 or 2 pictures are categorised that’s it. I have seen people saying you have to keep it in charging overnight, but this is not a correct way to be honest.

markwoll CMF1_hacker It does appear that the google editing tools are appearing in the gallery app, which is ‘interesting’. When I disable google photos the edit option stops working in Gallery “no editor found on your phone”. 🫤

NikolajS_ndergaard Rob ⚡️ I love the changes, but now I can’t access Gemini ai features without having to go directly into Google fotos. I actually liked that you could press edit into the old nothing gallery and access Geminis great image features. Please give me the magic eraser back into the nothing gallery!

markwoll bussakoti Seems that way. It is doing some sort of ‘smart object detection’ when i do a long press on a photo. If you save the picture it saves the cut out of the object. No option to pick areas, and if no ‘object’ is detected there is nothing to save. I don’t know if this was the behavior before the update.
