the fairphone is stellar as it will get android updates for up to 10 years (due to using an SoC for embedded systems) and is actually produced in a fair manner compared to all of these generic Chinese/Indian phones.
having said that. I went with the CMF1 do to the price point of £169 versus £550 of the FF5 (at the time of purchase of my CMF1).
oh snap, it comes with /e/OS … awesome that’s a superplus.
EDIT: that’s a major downgrade on the SoC on the FF6 (standard SD garbage) versus the FF5 (industrial embedded SoC). I’d rather have a used FF5.
