It’s been 9 months since I started using the Nothing Phone 2a, and I’m honestly very frustrated with both the device and the company.
They marketed the 2a so well, calling it their most sold and “best device of 2024,” and I believed that — so I bought it. But…
Just a week after using it, I started facing network issues — the phone mostly stays on 4G, while other phones at my home consistently get stable 5G. But that’s not even the worst part.
About a month in, I noticed serious display issues:
Green tint
Black crush
Color distortion
These problems make the display horrible, especially when watching movies or dark content. The viewing experience is completely ruined.
I reported the issue and followed up for 5 months. Every time, customer support kept saying, “It will be fixed in the next software update.”
With no improvement, I finally requested and got a screen replacement — but still, there’s no change. The same display issues remain.
Now, it’s been almost 9 months, and every time I contact the service center or support, they just repeat the same line — “It will be fixed in the next update.”
But till now, nothing has been fixed. 😔😔
