My thoughts on the Nothing Phone (3) without glyphs

I’m not happy with the nothing phone 3 it’s the ugliest version of the phone I hope it wasn’t. Why take all those years creating something unique only to ditch the design that made it popular in the first place.

TrumanKnowles I think Nothing is just a bold company, look at their product line. Though I don’t have a Nothing phone, I still think that this looks way cooler and allows more community creativity. I don’t know if completely ditching the old glyphs was the right move, but maybe if we kept 1 or 2 strips, that could have been a better transition to the new dot screen system.

HollandGauthier you can’t say it looks way cooler and in the same breath say they shouldn’t have taken the glyph away. And if you don’t have a nothing phone lol how did you get here.😂

I liked Nothing because of the unique ,cool and also the glyph light. The phone 3 is not cool. The only one i like in this phone is glyph matrix but i loved glyph light more than glyph matrix. This phone only a flashship but not cool in design.

The pricing is also too high. Maybe an affordable price range will be best for Nothing to sell their gadgets to compete with Samsung and apple. The reason I bought nothing 2 and ear(a) is only cause I get a great experience at affordable price. But this time I can’t say that.

I think they were trying to make the biggest statement of “making tech fun” with their first flagship by making the dot matrix such a big change with great functionality. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there are that many uses for the old glyphs other than cool ringtones, the torch, DoorDash timing, and a few other things. Don’t get me wrong—those are cool, and I’m sure I’ve missed some, but the dot matrix is so much more customizable and practical. I can also imagine how many cool 3D prints there could be for the toys.

HollandGauthier i mean that’s cool…but the glyphs made you look like you have the coolest phone in the World,which is why I bought it. I prefer the glyphs usages than the matrix
