Here’s a hot take: The negative reaction to the new Phone 3 might actually be a good thing. I love that nothing were bold enough to take the risk even if I personally think they have failed this time.
With this in mind, I’ve tried to comp together the version I would have liked to see from all the bests parts of previous nothing phones.
The idea here is to keep the glyphs, but reduce their presence and integrate them more into the Matrix, making it feel less ‘bolted on’. I’m sure there are tons of practical reasons this wouldn’t work but it’s still fun to explore alternative realities.
