Thinking of Switching - Help

Hey everyone,

I am thinking of switching to the Phone 3 as it recently dropped. I currently run a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. I just want to leave the Google ecosystem and onto something less invasive and more innovative.

I have read and watched plenty of reviews and feedback on Nothing and all I could hear are great things.

If there is someone out there reading this who has experience with Nothing OS and products please give me some advice if you would recommend the switch?

Other than that I also love the design of the phone as it really stands out, when I first saw the camera layout for the Phone 3 it looked off and “different” but after a while of looking at it, I actually started liking it. I also appreciate the dedication of the software team at Nothing and what they are doing to change the tech industry for the better.

ChillPanda it’s good phone but lack in some cases like camera and “value for money” factor is also matters here… if your budget permit you…you can buy…but don’t buy right now… wait for sometime ..let people use this phone and give them reviews… some youtubers do 1 -2 month reviews…you can refer those and make your decision… and if there is nothing store nearby you can also experience it and then make your decision…

Try out degoogled ecosystems like GrapheneOS etc. Try to extract maximum out of your pixel device.

JP Hey Jaimin I totally agree with you on the Phone being priced way to high for the performance you could actually get out of it with the current chip set. I will definitely wait on other reviews on the Phone 3 upon launch to see whether I decide to make the switch or not.

For the Nothing store there aren’t any near by unless I fly out of country I’m in the U.S.

Anonymous717 Hey Vovan, I could see the community isn’t really happy with the camera design and the higher price tag for minor improvements from previous phones which were meant to be cheaper for the majority of people.

If you don’t mind what is your opinion on the new phone, and what would make you actually want to buy it for this price? What changes would you want to see?

after phone 3 anounce many people right now want lo leave nothing and upgrade to pixel devices.

ChillPanda thank you for asking, first snapdragon 8 elite, second one is delicate cameras design, and third one is glyphs on the back becouse you need something special to be different.

ChillPanda they answer will be interesting, but i think that it will be like they don’t care and the sell numbers will say if phone 3 are succesful.
