After an update, when I swipe up the search bar and keyboard appear, but it ignores a letter. There is a time when the keyboard works, then it ignores an input for a while and then it works again. So I have to wait around a second for it to work normally which is very unpleasant and it slows me down. Is it a common problem or is it just me? And is there a solution for this? Thank you for an aid.

Is it possible to make it so that when I press the button to start the search on the keyboard, the search is done directly on the default browser without having to select it at the top?

Samarth97 essential search is far behind the sesame and Niagara search. In my Nothing Phone 2, it just searches apps, shortcuts, widgets, thats it. But in third-party options i mentioned above we can web search, calculations, contacts and even files from the drive and offline files can be searched along with nothing can.

EDIT:-I have downloaded essential search apk and it’s working…Btw don’t know when it will be working officially.

Stereobasic still haven’t, just have to wait for the beta program to be over and then the update can be done through any gmail address on the playstore.

Didn’t the essential search have a button on the right of the search bar to use AI search?

On my phone 3 it is not there any more.

oliver_cQEGB5mRLs Same here from Phone 3a. AI button was there but eventually disappeared. Can’t make it appear by installing with the APK. What should I do ? Is this a bug ?

we don’t get essential space bcz of we don’t have phisical button, nothing can do something for old phones to use some of features of essential space, I’m not happy but accept what nothing give clarification.

now we don’t get essential search, nothing we need any special button for use this too ❓❓❓

earlier nothing know for user feedback listening and implementing as users need but now it’s don’t match with this tag

Just installed the apk. Only the ‘calculator’ feature works, nothing else does, there is no yellow animation or the essential search logo. What’s wrong?

mackie_cmf yeah, I haven’t been able to get it to work on the CMF1 with the newest launcher. it does work is you remove the N Launcher via settings and app. Just uninstall the Nothing Launcher and install and older version via side load. Then, install essential search separately. I had it working for a while but am on the NP3 more frequently.

I have the phone 2a plus, and I managed to FULLY get essential search working, and YES, with the Easter eggs and AI.

So I deleted nothing launcher updates, installed essential search 1.0.2 trough APK, and updated to launcher 3.3.10 wich seems to be the best version so far, and then it worked simply.

Keep in mind that deleting app updates/downgrading deletes app data meaning you will need to rearrange your layout again.
