Hi Community,
I’m using the Nothing Phone 3a Pro and really appreciate its clean design and smooth performance. However, I’m facing a consistent issue with poor video quality during WhatsApp video calls.
Despite having a strong Wi-Fi connection and all WhatsApp video call settings set to high quality, the video sent to the other person appears very low-quality or overly processed. The front and rear cameras both work perfectly fine in other apps like Google Meet, Teams, and Instagram, which tells me the issue seems specific to WhatsApp and not the hardware itself.
I’ve come across others facing the same issue, so this doesn’t appear to be an isolated case.
📌 Key points:
Device: Nothing Phone 3a Pro
Network: Stable Wi-Fi (high speed)
WhatsApp settings: HD video call option enabled
Issue only on WhatsApp video calls
Other video call apps work fine
Camera seems overly processed or pixelated during WhatsApp calls
Is this a known issue? Are there any recommended settings or updates that could fix this?
Since I rely heavily on WhatsApp video calls, a fix would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
