Why?
I chose to buy the S10 because of it’s timeless design and the possibility of it being capable of replacing my Phone (2a). But why do I want to replace my Phone (2a)? I’ve been really disappointed in Nothing’s software and the lack of many features I thought to be unnecessary, like Dolby Atmos, Wireless Power Sharing, Good Display Resolution, Software Customisation. All these things aren’t available on the Phone (2a), so I bought a S10 because it has all these “Flagship” features for a third of the price of a Phone (2a).
Is the S10 still usable?
Yes. It runs Android 12 with One Ui 4 and so far I haven’t had a single lag even while using social media and browsing the internet (can’t speak for gaming, I don’t play games on my phone).
Camera
In terms of the camera, for a six year old phone.. it’s honestly great. The S10 has 3 Cameras. One Wide Angle, One Ultra Wide Angle and a Telephoto Lens. All Lenses take great pictures in normal light conditions, but in low light It shows its age. Video is also great, you can record up to 4K 60fps (which the Phone 2a can’t to btw.) and you can also switch between front and rear camera while recording a video… why is my Phone (2a) unable to do this but a six year old Samsung can do this?

Useful Stuff
One thing that sounds useless but is actually is useful, is the heartbeat sensor if the S10. After measuring my heartbeat twice or more I came to the conclusion that, either my S10’s heartbeat sensor doesn’t work properly, or my CMF Watch Pro 2 heartbeat sensor doesn’t work properly, because both show be completely different measurements.
The S10 still has the Bixby button, I was really scared first, because I thought you can only remap it if you root the phone. Turns out, you can just remap the button to any app or command you like (unlike Nothing and it’s “useful” essential key)
Another thing I noticed is music playback with good earbuds sounds even better than on the Phone (2a). I think that is because I have Dolby Atmos enabled, paired with Apple Music, which sounds really really good.
(Has a micro SD slot btw.)
(Headphone jack)
Battery
The only bad thing about the S10 is the battery, I set it to charge to 85% and even on light use I have have to charge it at least for a little bit so it doesn’t die on me at noon.
Conclusion
The S10 is a great phone which still holds up, and in many ways is better than today’s budget phones. I’m glad I made this purchase and I will continue using this phone as my main device
