Nothing Phone (3) Camera Sensors

Hi Community,

Does anyone has a confirmed list of camera sensors used in Nothing Phone (3)?

I found information:

Main sensor - Omnivision OV50H
Ultra-wide - Samsung JN1
Periscope - Samsung JN5
Front - Samsung JN1

However, I can’t find confirmation of it in the official spec list.

UPDATE: Nothing Support confirmed that the list is correct.

Where did you find this info for the main sensor? At 1/1.3 it could also be a LYT818 which would be fantastic, but I haven’t heard anything one way or the other.

teleclimber Nothing uses other than sony cameras most of the times…so there must be Samsung or other brand camera…

And it’s not about camera sensors its the nothing camera app which is trash… i don’t know why nobody talks about this trash app … click pictures with any other camera app and you’ll understand what I’m saying…

teleclimber this is just information that is circulating in the internet. E.g. on kimovil.com or fonearena.com.

However, I am not sure if it is an actual sensor list. That’s why I am looking for proven information.

P.S. I also requested info from Nothing support. Waiting for response.

teleclimber okay, I got a mail from Nothing support team. They confirmed that the sensors are:

Main sensor - Omnivision OV50H
Ultra-wide - Samsung JN1
Telephoto - Samsung JN5
Front - Samsung JN1

The main and telephoto should be fine. However, Ultra-wide and Front look more like budget options to me. 🤔

KeyurAgravat try lmc 8.4 … it’s basically gcam on steroids(modified) …i use this personally and i haven’t read any bad reviews of this about data theft or malware…

JP where can i download the app and any specific file need to be load or just download app?

KeyurAgravat there is a dedicated website of it…search on google and you’ll get it…and you don’t have to add mods or anything… there are many guides online…you can refer them

Yeah, the Ultra wide is pretty plain jane. Found on mostly Mid to low end phones.
