Recently, I encountered an issue with my Nothing phone where the correct lock screen password was consistently rejected as incorrect. I attempted multiple logins and even restarted the device several times, but the problem persisted. I’m confident I didn’t forget the password—especially not my lock screen passcode.
It seems likely that this was caused by a software glitch or bug. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to factory reset the device, which meant starting over from scratch. Given this experience, I strongly believe Nothing should introduce a feature similar to the “Forgot Password” option available on some Mi phones. Such a backup option would allow users to securely unlock their devices even if something goes wrong or the password isn’t recognized—without losing all data.
