By now I don’t expect any major news from NOTHING anymore, fortunately my N Phone 2 still works well and has good battery life… it’s just the camera that’s disappointing.

NP2 was launched in July 2023, almost 2 years ago. If they couldn’t/wouldn’t fix the camera app in that long, I don’t suppose anything’s going to happen in future also. A bunch of presets/filters is not what I am talking about. At least the main sensor should be able to take a decent photo with usable detail and natural color, consistently.

Currently, Google has not released the July security patch, so OEMs will not be able to provide it.

The major drawbacks of camera are

Human image processing
Lens glare

Without camera filters, we can manage. However the above two things need to fixed. These issues are present from day 1. It seems they are not interested in NP2 camera update. Period. 😶

Please share your initial experience after the update. I’m not referring to features that were missed in the release or battery performance (as it takes 2-3 days to recalibrate after an update). Instead, I’m more interested in bugs like the mobile network issue (e.g., not receiving calls when connected to Wi-Fi), which could be a significant problem for me, Hence I will not gonna update…

For God sake, pls provide meaningful updates for nothing phone 2. It’s already 3.1 for mid range phones like 3a.

There is nothing new in the update. No new features added in the UI . Or some AI integration.

I’ve already put the N Phone 1 back in its box, and I also own the N Phone 2 (the only two true NOTHING Phones), and when the battery starts to degrade, I’ll put the N Phone 2 back in its box too… and I’ll look ahead to what the market will offer.

Nothing can’t even manage anything, just keep telling users we are working and all they work on is other phones and not NP2.

Start thinking about software development life cycle, most of the features are in Beta, Android 16 is coming but most of the features they mentioned in the Android 15 are in Beta phase.
