Edit: Like this seriously doesn’t make sense. How does it lose 10% battery life in or around 20 minutes? It’s not even running anything in the background that’s battery intensive.
Edit 2: Yes. Some of us are on the 4.1 update. Different regions, different problems. Which I find odd, that Nothing still hasn’t fixed this yet. I know that there are several years worth of security and os updates, guaranteed. But, that doesn’t mean keeping a space heater in my pocket at all times.
I’ve had my brand new nothing phone 3 512 gigabyte since April of this year and it’s been nothing but non-stop battery drain and hot to the touch issues. Anywhere from simply opening up the camera app causes the phone to go into overdrive with heating. Text messages, web browsing, even just for five minutes.
Hell, even trying to update the phone from a simple OTA update or app update causes it to go into overdrive. Like this doesn’t make any sense. The phone’s fully updated. I tried every troubleshooting step along with updating the software and factory setting several times. Is there anything else I’m missing? Because when I say this thing is hot I mean it is hot to the touch. Like I can literally feel the plastic brimming with heat from this phone. It even gets randomly hot in a very cool environment, like at 65 or 69 degrees Fahrenheit. This has been an issue since April and it still hasn’t been fixed.
