Pros: battery send to be holding strong. I’ve had it for four days now with most of the features turned on, and I’m at 54%; I like the customizable widgets and watch faces; touch screen is very responsive; connectivity with phone is strong when it works (see below)
Cons: activity tracker excludes workout data, so if I want to make sure I get 30 min of activity or 10000 steps in a day, it won’t show that on the watch if I track any of that activity as a workout which makes no sense; no widget for voice recorder/transcription; voice assistant only works if the phone is unlocked/on and the audio does not come from the watch only the phone; chatgpt doesn’t work even after carefully following the help guide; bezel gets scuffed up/chipped/ dented very easily; the app has required me to sign in again twice in four days…no notifications after it signs you out.
Overall, this feels like a work in progress. There is a typo in the custom widget menu (dail instead of dial ), the UI/UX is generally good but there are small quirks/omissions that make the interface feel rushed, and the magnetic charging port doesn’t feel as satisfying to use as on some other smart watches.
I’m excited to see what kind of updates and support the watch will get over the coming months, but I’m a little disappointed that the watch doesn’t really meet my needs from a basic fitness tracker. Perhaps runners will get more out of it…I haven’t tried any of the auto workout detection (only works for running, walking, and cycling) or AI run coaching as I mostly play sports and don’t run or cycle very regularly.
