Feedback on Watch Pro 3 – Removal of Swappable Bezel and Software Updates for Pro 2

Hi everyone,

I’m a loyal user of the Watch Pro 2 and wanted to share some feedback and concerns regarding the new Watch Pro 3.

Firstly, I’m quite disappointed that the Pro 3 no longer has the swappable aluminum bezel. This was a great feature that allowed personalizing the watch and easily replacing scratched parts, which helped keep the watch looking fresh and durable over time. Removing this feels like a step backward for customization and long-term usability.

Secondly, many of the software improvements, especially the smoother animations and UI updates on the Pro 3, seem like they could technically be brought to the Pro 2 as well. Since the hardware is quite similar, it’s frustrating to see these enhancements held back from Pro 2 users who recently purchased the watch.

I believe that offering meaningful software updates to older models would strengthen user loyalty and show that Nothing values all its customers, not just those buying the latest model.

I’ve been wearing a Watch 3 for about 3 days now, I’m getting a few missed notifications, but they’re few and far between - I tend to run my phone (CMF Pro 2) in battery saver mode when idle too. So on par with my Garmin watches, but not as reliable as my previously owned Apple watches. Have done 3 GPS activities now and they’ve been solid (losing maybe 20m per km compared to my Fenix 7, and not syncing HR to Strava aside). So for the price has definitely exceeded my expectations (obviously YMMV).

I’m also a Watch Pro 2 user and have had it for 4 months. It no longer receives updates, has a replaceable bezel, and other things. In my opinion, if you don’t care about AI features, buy the Watch Pro 2 because for this you use an additional money.

JK-Epix True. I have it too and just asked when I will get any update. I want the better software with better animations, ChatGPT that works on other phones (for example I have OPPO Reno13 FS) and Essential News. But besides these things, I just absolutely love it.

Hello, those features are something that could be added to the watch pro 1 and pro 2 as well is what i meant, and that things should be upgrade with firmware updates and not hardware that isnt even an upgrade, its like 7% better accurate hearth rate monitoring, 1% brighter display.
