I was wondering if Nothing has only whitelisted the 50MP main and 16MP front camera and not the 50MP telephoto or 8MP ultrawide from being detected by GCAM? Perhaps this was a software copy from the CMF Phone 1 where they had the privacy issue with the 2MP depth camera and the whitelist was copied from CMF Phone 1’s software. The Phone 2 pro dosen’t have any cameras that can see through things so I wonder why its not avaliable (either via config or actual hardware restriction).
If thats the case I hope Nothing allows all the cameras to be accessable on the Phone 2 pro by the API since that would greatly increase the usability of GCAM. Hopefully its as simple as just putting a few lines of code to reconfigure the whitelist.
TLDR: Phone 2 pro no privacy concerns for camera so why camera whitelist only main cameras? unless its software/hardware issues
