I’m facing a strange issue on my Nothing Phone 2a. When I enable the hotspot, my mobile network signal randomly disappears without warning. It can happen after a few minutes—or even after a long time—without any fixed timing. When it happens, the phone shows “No Service” briefly before the network restores itself.
Key details:
Happens only when hotspot is on.
Tested on two different Nothing Phone 2a devices — same behavior.
Occurs with the same SIM and also with a different SIM.
No issues during normal use—only hotspot triggers it.
Phone is running the latest Nothing OS update.
Troubleshooting I’ve tried:
Reset network settings
Changed hotspot band (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz)
Switched network mode (5G/4G/3G)
Disabled battery saver & data saver
No improvement
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known workaround or an update planned to fix it?
