Hey Nothing People, I have been using the Nothing Phone (3) for few days now and it’s almost time over to have this for more time. So, I’m just trying to elaborate the camera performance as much I have experienced it till now.
The Phone comes with a very good Triple rear camera setup and all three have a 50MP resolution.
The Main camera comes with 50MP Omnivision sensor with OIS , 24mm f/1.7 lens. The Ultra Wide Camera comes with 50MP SAMSUNG sensor f/2.2 . The 3x Telephoto lens comes with 50MP SAMSUNG sensor having f/2.7 .
Front Camera also features a 50MP sensor.
• Let’s talk about the 50MP main camera-
Normally it clicks photo at 12.6 MP but you can change into 50MP from settings. It captures pretty well photos. Especially when the lighting is good it takes really fantastic photos no doubt. Not much saturated or eye catchy but as it is, also it captures a little more contrast photos which can be not so eye pleasing for all or any common people who don’t care about proper photography and post processing. Here is some examples:
• Let’s talk about the 3x Telephoto Periscope Camera -
Nothing has really done some crazy work here, as much as I have experienced in last one month. You can take some crazy Macro photos. Even if you don’t like macro photography it will push to explore **Macro Photography.** Sharing some magic of This Particular Camera. Here is some Photos :
In those above photos hopefully you can understand how good the Macro Camera is. Whenever I switched to 3x camera it literally takes no time to focus the object and the details it catches is fantastic. I never felt like I need an external Lens to capture those images.
Then as we zoom more like 6x , 10x there is some issues I noticed , no doubt that takes great photos but the there is some focus issues , sometimes it can’t detect the edge properly. But yeah let’s have some look on Good Photos:
These photos are taken mostly above 10x Zoom.
Lastly, let’s talk about the 50MP ULTRA WIDE LENS-
Practically 50MP Ultra wide is a very good resolution camera and yeah with good light conditions it perform very well.
I don’t want to comment more on ultra wide shots because I didn’t explore much of it.
( Also I’m skipping the 50MP Selfie Camera as it is not part of my photography. )
As a Photographer I really love to capture Sunset and Aestrophotography alot, so sharing few shots of them. What I genuinely love and appreciate of Nothing’s Camera is it’s Noise control at Night photography. There is no noise at all in any photos that I captured. I genuinely missed it in my Primary device. So some example of those beautiful shots :

Finally, have a short discuss on Video Quality -
The Phone (3) can captures video upto 4k at 30/60fps and 1080 at 30/60 fps with gyro- EIS, OIS. Also additionally you will get a different element , a tiny red dot light which will turn on automatically when you are shooting a video. Overall video quality is good.
You can see it was captured on 3x Zoom and only by hand still you can see the stabilization, colour, focus are actually very good.
