I too had a similar experience, I play all sorts of games throughout the day, COD, Genshin Impact, Froza, BGMI, etc. The problem starts when I turn on Performance Mode® it heats up my phone like it’s a dry pan, especially when playing Roblox, I live near Ooty, the coldest place in Tamil Nadu, if it is like this here then what about Mumbai, MP?

Basically every review I saw before buying my 3a said that it doesn’t have good enough specs for high end gaming.

However, I’ve been playing CODM and Genshin Impact for two weeks just fine with zero issues. Yeah I can’t actually max out the graphics completely, but the second/third highest settings are buttery smooth. Battery life is not impacted either, only about 5-10% in an hour of gameplay.

It did cross 40° one time while the weather itself was blazing hot here in Kolkata, but since I’m in AC most of the time it runs fine.

Amoled Display Yupp, but it might be because I rarely play at higher settings. I mostly play at medium on 30fps.

Btw I can’t notice any difference when switching to Highest, and the game gives me a warning that it’s overclocked. So i guess genshin is also preventing itself from raising the graphics too high

Anonymous903 possible. I stopped playing high-end games after one time when my phone started heating up like crazy, and the battery dropped to almost half in just 1–1½ hours

I did test out CODM. I played for 30min in low, medium and ultra graphics each. The phone supports 90fps on low settings but only supports 60fps on every other settings. The phone didn’t heat up much and battery held up pretty well. It was smooth enough for me as I play in medium settings. No issues from my side whatsoever

So I started playing ZZZ and the performance absolutely blew me away

Maxed out every setting and the phone is settling at 40 C (35 if I turn on my room air conditioner)

Battery is great too; 50 to 19% in 2 hours of gameplay

{36% battery used by Zenless Zone Zero in two hours}

Is the nothing phone 3a good for playing games since i have some younger siblings that use my phone which is a 11 pro max to play games on ROBLOX or Minecraft but it is slow and overheats all the time so if anyone could share some which has well used nothing phone 3a that plays those games please tell me if it is good and doesn’t over heat too much thanks

Eliasmous Minecraft will run well on anything. Roblox has very few games that fully utilize its power so it should be mostly fine
