stephanstephanschmidt Redmi Watch 5 is definitely a solid choice! I actually considered it because of the rectangular display, which I got used to with my CMF Watch Pro. However, the main thing that held me back from the Redmi was the lack of Wear OS.
I used to hate Wear OS back in 2017 when I had the Moto 360, but the current version on my OnePlus Watch 3 is a completely different story – it’s brilliant and incredibly fast. Now that I’ve been using it for a few weeks, it works brilliantly, though the biggest downside so far is the lack of updates for a long time.
I’m also still getting used to the round face. In my opinion, a classic round watch is the ideal choice for a suit, which is why I’m adjusting to this shape in a smartwatch. Besides, one can always swap watches for formal meetings anyway! It’s also noticeably heavier than the CMF Watch Pro.
Overall, I’m very happy, and I’m even starting to think about switching my NP3 to the OnePlus 15. I use two phones daily – the Nothing Phone (3) and a OnePlus 11 5G. To be honest, after the Android 16 update and the new OxygenOS, I actually enjoy using my “old” OnePlus more than the boring Nothing Phone (3). It really shows how much Nothing still has to catch up to more established brands.
