Here is a concept art I did this week for Nothing Os Dialer. Do share your thoughts and feedback. Olly06 Yes in the next update these options will be available including the shape of the pfp too. This update mainly focuses on the revamp of the UI overall and light theme. Features will come slowly including customization.

Few doubts

I am not exactly if the current version supports these but..

Is there any option to change these call accept and decline options to swipe mode and not touch mode
Assuming I get an incoming phone call while using phone, it would be better if you have distinct options (red and green buttons) to accept or decline call and not simple accept or reject
The profile photos are getting extremely compressed . I am not exactly sure if it is only prevalent in my version or common to all

Tejas The swiping gestures and pics optimization both are coming in the next update. Google fetched images will be blurry due to their own compression.

Goblin2k its coz of some google policy I guess. nothing we can do unless we dont put app on playstore.

Goblin2k Google restricted call recording from Android 13 for third party dialers. Unless they allow it we cant do much on the playstore version.

Ali Fakhruddin Have you considered adding a voice recording feature to this application and publishing it separately? Without adding it to Google Play Store. Directly through GitHub.

AhmetK_k Yes we have. But for such a small team it’s too much to take care of two cloned apps. At the moment our focus is more on stabilizing N Dial and create a few other apps so we can grow as a team.

Ali Fakhruddin I’d say dont open source it. you guys have put much work in making apps. so. it wouldnt make sense if you open source it.

Ali Fakhruddin you’ve changed everything on that app. Turned out to be just the usual dialer app. No elements of being a Nothing

ronnelapilado The previous design was outdated. The grey bg, dotted fonts everywhere and it was not at all in line with the 3.0. this update keeps the elements of Nothing but keeping UX a bit in mind. We got a lot of feedback on how it’s better than the previous one. So I guess it comes down to personal preferences.

jay_again Nop. Apps from us will never be open sourced. These apps are deeply thought off and made with a lot of care, research and time. We don’t want to make it open source for its own good.
