1.Really happy that you’ve introduced regional language support which is a great thing for me

2.Improved experience with the ES

3.Integration with google map, calendar works for my use.

4.Behaves like a robotic intellectual sometimes, need a cognitive database to understand the commands.

Can this function be completed whilst the device is offline?

The privacy policy explains that the speech-to-text processing is done on the phone. Off-device processing is not required to simply transcribe users’ voice recordings.

Frustratingly (because I have great use for quickly transcribing critical thoughts with the Essential Key and had been looking forward to using it), to date I have not been able to use Essential Space because the app has seemingly been blocked from providing users with their transcriptions without a copy first being shared with unnamed third parties, which I have blocked my Nothing phone from doing for privacy & security reasons. Why Nothing’s app currently denies users access I do not know.

Does this update fix this privacy & security concern, and allows transcribing without an internet connection?

I’m so excited to have this on here. I was debating switching away from this device because of it. This is a very important feature for my work life when it comes to meetings and keeping notes. Thank you so much. @Rob ⚡️

A lot of great features are constantly being added everywhere but into the Nothing Gallery app 😑 It’s still impossible to have filters stay where we left them, they always revert back to 100 whenever we switch to anything else (other filter, other settings). This here is all great to have, don’t get me wrong (Essential Space as a whole is a killer feature), but come on guys, spend 10 minutes of your time to fix the gallery app, lol.

So beta will be available on EVERY Nothing Phone (which will receive A16)? Yeah, I doubt that. Didn’t happen with A15, didn’t happen with A14… It was in beta for selected few devices, then it rolled out as an official stable release to everyone.

I just want a remap to the button. Just don’t make people to use a feature they don’t want. I get that some people like the feature. But, at the end of the day it should be upto the customer.

Nice I’ve been using essential space and it feels good. But I do think it needs this basic features :

An option to crop the screenshots.
An option to crop to the audio recordings.
Ability to use multiple screenshots in one memory.
An option to turn off the AI analysis for some screen shots or ideas, just so that we can type whatever we want with extra summary.

No, which is my problem. If I disconnect my Nothing Phone from the internet then record my voice message using the Essential Key the result is a whirling wheel. If I close and reopen Essential Space there is no transcription. Seemingly, users cannot have their transcripts until after the files are uploaded somewhere on the internet, yet the speech-to-text processing is done on the device…..
