ANC on the Nothing Ear (2024)

Hi, I currently have the CMF buds pro 2 and was thinking of getting some new buds. I already like the sound quality on these ones so I know the ear’s have good quality, but from all the reviews I’ve seen, the CMF buds pro 2 have really good anc compared to the rest of the nothing lineup. I’ve seen reviews ranging from the ears being marginally better, to the buds pro 2 being better or there being virtually no difference. So if anyone has had both of the buds or tried both, is there much of a difference in the ANC?

Nashira At this stage, you might really want to wait for the reveal of the new Ear (3), which at least according to the newsletter focuses on better ANC compared to previous models.

I unfortunately can’t comment regarding you actual request between CMF Buds and Nothing Ear.

I only own the Ear. As for me I still barely hear what’s inside, like a car running or bus. Maybe that’s because these don’t fit my ears well. Idk will that information help you😂

Coldpaw Yep, the ear (3)'s came out and turns out the ANC is still mid… It's kind of funny that the best ANC Nothing has to offer is on their more budget oriented buds

The last FW update causes ambient to leak into the left earbud when ANC is enabled (it does not do this every time) and there seems no sign of another FW update as these appear to be abandoned.
