Phone (3) Wifi No Connection/Results Issue

Hi everyone,
I’ve been facing a recurring Wifi issue with my Nothing Phone (3) and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem or found a fix.

After connecting to my home Wifi, the phone works fine for about an hour. But then it suddenly drops the connection, and when I go into Wifi settings, it shows 0 available networks — not even nearby household/shop networks appear.

I’ve tried switching Wifi on/off multiple times, but it doesn’t help. The only way to get Wifi working again is to restart the phone. This happens consistently, and it’s really disruptive as I can’t afford to restart my phone every hour just to stay connected.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a known solution or workaround?

Hey, you’re not alone. It’s a well-known issue with the Phone 3. I’ve experienced numerous instances where I lost the connection while attempting to make payments, search for tickets, or log in to apps. To avoid frustration, I’ve resorted to using only 5G. Since I have unlimited data, this is a viable option for me when I’m not in a place with poor reception.

I’ve been experiencing similar issues, except when my wifi stops working it still shows as being connected. It even displays my network as well as other networks, but won’t actually load anything until I restart my Internet via the settings. I’ve tried changing every Internet setting I can think of but the wifi still regularly stops working after a while. I can browse the internet flawlessly via data however.

I have not experience that is all. I’d like to help but I bounce around between dozens of WiFi points throughout the day (even in my own house), which may be why I don’t observe it. In essence, I can’t time out as I don’t stay connected long enough to the same access point.

I had a very similar issue. The fix for me was disabling IPV6 in my routers settings. The connection is now completely stable. Not sure why it’s an issue, and why it’s not something Nothing could fix, but I hope this info helps.

Arcalius i hope they’ll fix that very soon. It’s not possible to have that kind of problems when all others brand of phone works perfectly fine ( I have 6 different brands of phone here, sometimes more) . I have the same problem every day and support is just AI soulless reply that don’t help at all (“send us a picture of your phone”) 🙄

I also experience connectivity issues with my WiFi, and it’s not router dependent for sure because it happens in multiple different places.
In a few words: almost every time when I unlock my phone there is no connectivity in all my social/banking/taxi/music apps for 10-15 seconds, then connection establishes, sometimes it’s just enough to lock the phone, wait for 3-4 minutes, unlock and see the issue again. Doesn’t happen on other phones in the family (my former OnePlus and Iphone). It’s getting annoying because you can’t use your phone ‘straight out of the pocket’, you always experience a ‘connectivity delay’
I think only WiFi is affected, it’s shameful for a 800 euro phone to have such an issue for more than a month! I reported it multiple times, last time with the wifi logs, support wasn’t helpful at all (they asked me to erase all my data ,lol, what a shame (2)). I even asked them to go straight to the dev team with the report, they said they will do that, since then I haven’t heard from them.

UPD. Looks like recent update resolves wifi issue, so far it was good in a last 2-3 days.

This happens to me as well. Nothing I have done in the settings have resolved it. It’s odd because it works fine and then just drops and disappears. I have to restart the entire phone just to reconnect to the WiFi network. I also have an iPhone and this issue never happens. Unsure what the issue is here, but it is very annoying. I may have to switch back as a result which I don’t really want to do. I’ve done all the suggestions on various threads and forums and nothing works.

Looks like Nothing doesn't know how to work with its hardware and drivers as the Nothing Phone (2) has the EXACT same issue and it all started around September this year with their latest update. We're MANY with the same problem and is clearly a software one and not the hardware one their customer service tries to gaslight us
