Phone (3) Price Drops - Thoughts

The nothing phone 3 initially launched for ₹79,999. Within 40 days it was bright down to ₹65,000 and was sold through Sangeeta. Another 45 days and it's on sale for ₹47,000 approx on Amazon. Someone who bought it at launch would be really annoyed to know they could've just gotten it for 50% cheaper. And I who bought it at ₹65,000 am really annoyed I paid 45% more.

I wanted to talk about the recent price crash of the 3rd iteration of the Nothing Phone on some platforms. Phone (3) is currently available for 45-46k INR on Amazon, which is a pretty great deal for anyone who’s s thinking of switching phones.

The discount is present on Amazon (from what I’ve seen) and not on Flipkart, the offical partner. The sellers are offering huge discounts on this device since the Phone (3) might not be selling that well, leading them to trying to clear the stock that they own by offering steep discounts, which coincide with the concerns that I had expressed earlier in a post.

This reflects quite badly on the company as it’s rare to see a ‘flagship’ go down to half its launching price (almost), that too, only after a month and a half.

Anyways this is a win for us Nothing lovers since we can get the ‘flagship’ for the price of a mid ranger. For anyone considering buying the Phone (3), this might be the best deal you’ll be getting, that is unless Nothing decides to permanently make this the new price.

Lmao. If I have a store and I decide to sell NP3 for 1€, how is that reflecting bad on Nothing as a company if I’m selling their phone for that price, not them? What’s next, finding a Phone (3) in one’s car after a car crash and blaming it all on Nothing?

Some of y’all find some of the wildest possible mental gymnastics just to 💩 on Nothing. Pretty impressive at this point, I’ll admit.

Also newsflash #1 - not an official seller (on Amazon), newsflash #2 - not even Amazon as a seller, and newsflash #3 - prices of tech only go down from the day of their release. Yes, even iPhones, look at that free fall on the price graph:

Nowhere has been mentioned that it’s not an official listing (but you said it’s Amazon, and not Flipkart), nowhere has been mentioned that it’s at 85K at Flipkart. So much about “can’t reading even basic English properly” #1.

So someone is selling a literal fake Nothing Phone (3) phone on Amazon, you are showing that fake phone here and saying how it paints a bad picture on Nothing as a company because their ‘flagship’ (even ""s are there, right in your post!) is being listed for cheap. Fake phone, not their phone. So much about “can’t reading even basic English properly” #2.

Dude, first of all tone it down a notch and read the whole post. I did mention that it is not an official listing and that the official listing is still at 85k on Flipkart. If you can’t read even basic english properly, it’s not my fault.

Secondly, if you want to talk numbers, let have a look at them. The 16 Pro Max was launched at €1449 and is now available for €1115 (from your image). This shows a 23% (23.05) price drop in what, a year? The Phone (3) was launched at 85k INR and is now available for 47k INR (from my image) . This shows a 43% (42.69) price drop in only a month. I just “speculated” that this fall in the price “might” be since the device “might” not be selling that well and there’s nothing in that for getting so triggered.

Thirdly, I just made a “speculation” that the phone (read the following carefully) “might” not be selling that well (I believe that you “might” know the meaning of the quoted words).

And last of all, if I hated Nothing, I wouldn’t even be here. I just wanted to let anyone thinking about getting the device about the price drop and gave my thoughts on it.

So, the conclusion that you can draw from this reply is, if you can’t respect others’ opinions then learn to be polite or have a discussion about it or at least agree to disagree and if can’t, then frankly, you are free to go and f youself

You do have a point of it being fake, but I checked the reviews on the product page and don’t think that they are AI written, but yeah, that is a valid concern

I also agree that it does sound somewhat mental when taking about the price like that but that wasn’t my intention, I just wanted to say that the phone would have been a total hit (which I wanted it to be) if it was priced a little bit spec-appropriately but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter enough to fight.

Don’t argue with Nothing people. They will attack you unnecessarily defending the blunder NOTHING PHONE 3. One of them was trying to roast Pixel 10 comparing with Nothing Phone 3. They live in a fools paradise. Nothing even lied by showing fake photos claiming to be clicked by Phone 3. As per most of the Tech Reviewers in India. Its maximum price should be 50000 INR. Based on the specs it is offering. I would suggest Carl not to release any hype making so called Flagship phones.

AnmolMalhotra it’s fake listing… people can buy those phones…but mostly those phones are unpacked…likely returned replaced or pre-activated… if you want to buy wait for 15-20 days.. there are big sales comming… you can get BRAND NEW phone 3 for under 50k..
