Rob ⚡️ ngl i don’t want a extra button to open a note app. There’s so many cool stuff nothing can do this with this button! also the placement of this button is worst i always accidentally pressed it. there’s no point of using essential space if I can’t open the notes on my laptop there should be web or desktop application as well for essential space. I’ve nothing phone 3a I love everything about phone expect this useless button

More and more updates for essential space are making Phone 2 users like me jealous. Jokes apart but all the efforts that are being put in by the team for essential space makes the entire community proud. Bravo!

pollenjh where is evidence that it’s a subscription? I believe you but as curious where I missed it?

I would assume this is for minutes than the 300 allotted per month?

CMF1_hacker There was some placeholder code found in the ES app indicating to a subscription tier being added, but it hasn’t been confirmed that it’s actually being realized. Although I highly doubt the fact that Nothing will never charge for ES, since I can picture how the more complex ES features become, the more tokens will be required. And as the need for tokens increases, the option to pay for them will arise. To be clear though; none of the features available now will become paid.

pollenjh yeah, I saw that placeholder about a year ago and maybe right now as I’m WFH, I look through the APK again to see whether it’s changed.

I did get this feedback from an old APK 1.0.9 that I had lying around.

They don’t want to add it because there isn’t a physical button. Clearly an excuse but understandable. Reason to buy the new phones and to reduce costs of AI

this has been available since 4 updates ago ES v.1.0.9 compared to the ES 1.0.13 I have now without the new update.

Whisper is open-source and I asked chatGPT to compare the whisper libraries in ES 1.0.9 against the open source ones to see whether there are any functional differences.
