Nothing Phone (3a) Pro - Photo Saving Rotation Bug

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a strange bug with the camera on my Nothing 3a Pro. Every time I take a photo or record a video, the file is automatically saved with a 90-degree rotation.

That means if I take a vertical picture or video, it ends up being saved as a horizontal. It’s really frustrating, because I have to manually rotate each file afterward.

After some research online, it looks like this might be related to a calibration problem between the phone’s sensors and the camera app.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know a fix?

Alessia hey mate, I’ve not had this myself and hopefully one the community might come with a resolution but, in the meantime you might want to log a bug via settings > system > feedback. This sends your feedback to the Nothing team who may address it in future updates.
