I think the energy slider is like a dynamic eq profile (when the slider is at the left, the sound is balanced, and at the maximum right is a “V” sound - boosted bass and treble, and you can adjust it for your perfect sound). Probably customizable too, with the ability to change the eq which the slider activates

This is definetely a BASS slider of some sort (ala Skullcandy), or knowing Nothing/CMF, a granular slider of some sort of an “Energetic” EQ tune. Flat at off and full EQ tune when all the way on.

My idea: an audio system that lets you control the identity of the sound.
Just push forward on the interface to different levels which triggers different paramenters like bass enhance, different Equalizer settings, more volume (ofc) and at max level it activate’s noise cancelling to don’t get any distrsction to fully enjoy your music!

I think will be related to some functiona redictions such as anc microphones and drivers, Bluetooth antena and power delivery and maybe some light indicators amd going some crazy maybe having the battery splitted on each side of the headphone.

Deepanshu_Saini_ the slider will be used for adjusting the bass profile. Turning it all the way up will increase the lower range and reducing it will make the lower range frequencies close to neutral. It won’t be for volume because there is already a button present for that as we can see from the promo videos cmf uploaded.

I think this has to do with generative sounds. There are apps where you can dynamically apply certain effects to your music. I.e. you would have some ambient sounds and use a slider to add percussion or rain sounds or anything really connected to different vibes.

I believe there will be a companion app that can play atmospheric sounds (among others) and the slider allows users to smoothly change some aspects of the generated soundscape.

My guess would be Bass-to-Treble “Energy Curve”
Slide left = Flat, reference, studio sound (low “energy”)

Middle = balanced
Slide right = Bass boosted + treble sparkled (high “energy”)
Internally adjusts parametric EQ in real-time. Because not every song requires constant EQ and may make it even worse. Would be nice to change EQ “on air”: fast and easy.

My guess is that it adjust sound signature (EQ/Bass etc..) by switching the switch right or left for, example, for more relaxing music you would keep the switch where it is and if your listening to EDM music or Rock you would slide the switch for more Bass/Pop (Energy as you would say) and can be adjusted in the Nothing x app between different presets maybe. 🤔

Deepanshu_Saini_ This energy slider on the cmf headphone pro will work like an equalizer presets , to match the particular vibes based on particular moods and since Nothing headphones last pretty long related to their battery lives its not a saver its related to custom listening modes with equalizer effects. Looking forward to this new tech!
