Good morning!
Since updating my Phone (2) to Phone (3), I have been experiencing connectivity problems with wireless Android Auto interfaces.
The issue almost feels like a bandwidth issue between the phone and the projection to the screen, but it only happens on the second recent connection to the device. For example, on the way to the Gym, fine, once finished, say an hour later, the issue arises.
The symptoms are Audio Jerkiness, Video Jerkiness, and then it fails to connect and goes back to the car’s home screen. This process then repeats until it just stops trying to connect. It feels like there’s too much data being sent to the screen.
This has happened on both my portable units (I have 2) and in a rental van last week - just to avoid any confusion with it being the receiving screens.
The only way I can fix it is by hitting the ‘Fix Connectivity’ button on the top right of the Internet page of settings. This is an instant fix, until the next time it cycles…
Can anyone recommend a fix? I’ve reset the Auto app, forgotten all wifi and bluetooth devices relating etc.
Thanks 🙂
