Black spots appear on videos while scrolling on Facebook. Even after Android 16, it hasn’t been fixed.

Sometimes when I click to take a picture, the picture doesn’t come out.

Network issues somewhat improve but its not expected level.

After this Update,
2 Big Issues which are Haunting me.

There’s no BSNL Network. It always goes off with an “!” mark at the Signal Icon.
Unable to connect to my Existing few Bluetooth devices & even after deleting & trying to add back my Moto Buds+ is also not happening.

Pls fix this ASAP.

I keep having problems with keyboard it became so small and the language icon never disappearing on the right corner and the is collapse icon on the left as well.

When pressing enter it keep changing the language (second picture)

When trying to change to icons the keyboard keeps disappearing (third picture)

Did that happen to anyone?

Nothin os 4.0 not very disappointing not very feature full, its very less respect to what we have waited for months. 2-3 thing I need in future
1 . more lock screen clock style (in current one is less readable and one is ok) at least 4-5 if wanted to remove any remove it which is less readable.
2 . New depth effect if they do is ok in their own way (nothing Way) but need more lock screen and wallpaper customization.
3 . nothing color pallet for UI (in this update have they given any material 3 feature?)🤪

over all system performance improved , app now work very fast . essential app is very very very interesting kudos to Nothing software team. but I like more native app widget , but what they are planning its very exciting I am looking forward to it. got very less this time but waiting for more…good luck Team.😌

👇 Specific issues that need improvement:

Video bitrate is too low (~100 Mbps), causing blur, grain, and compression artifacts — higher bitrate is required.

Stabilization (OIS + EIS) is poorly tuned, with wobble, jello effect, and shaky walking shots.

Night Sight is weak at 1x and 2x zoom, producing noisy, smudged details.

Photos beyond 3x zoom are heavily oversmoothed, removing natural texture and detail.

Daylight videos often look soft, while night videos are oversmoothed and lack detail.

Pro video controls are missing (manual shutter, ISO, WB, HDR10/LOG option).

No proper cinematic video mode (24fps, LOG/HDR10+, better dynamic range), even though the hardware fully supports it.

Whenever you mute an audio and unmute again while watching video in youtube, instagram or whatsapp or when screen gets locked and we unlock while we are currently on any social media apps, it takes 5 seconds to hear the sound back. Even while switching between apps and playing video again also this issue happens.

Note: This happens while using the headphones

what is the reason that no company could match the photo and video quality as Iphone, some high end phone from other brand have match the photo quality or night shot better then apple but in in video quality only apple is good. other brand also selling there phone 80,000 - 100000 INR price tag, but why apple is ahead in video recording. what is the problem with other company like engineering problem , money problem , resource problem ….. what is hindering them to give some improved video recording 🙏quality.

Android OEMs simply don’t care for video quality for reasons unknown, they neglect it almost completely, while Apple is consistently working on improving it every year. Android manufacturers are focused on improving photography experience and that shows because many phones are clearly ahead of iPhones in that aspect. But it’s certainly annoying how they barely care at all about videos, yeah.

Honestly I was just hoping for a bit more change in this update. Extra dark mode is a good example where I love the concept and the changes it makes look good but theres not all that much different. I would personally like to see some of the style from the nothing.tech website make it’s way to the OS - to me it feels like a more expressive version of the OS.

Some direct integration of nothing playground features into the apps would be great, such as installing camera presets from camera or gallery / sound profiles from nothing X. I love the features but installation is not as smooth as it could be.

The 2 new clock faces are not aligned properly , both have a huge space between the clock face and widgets

Can the bottom navigation bar length be increased back to previous version size, the smaller size doesn’t look good to eyes, also i preferred the red torch quick Settings tile, I don’t know but it felt more interactive. It will be even better if it’s color can be changed to the theme colours.

Home Screen widget not working in this beta version.

A weird (and worrying) graphical glitch followed by lag occurred to me this morning while watching YT. I don’t know how to reproduce this, will update again if it happens.
