First, I was excited to get my hand on the OS 4.0 beta, but now I am something between happy and disappointed.
Why isn’t it possible to move the clock on the lockscreen? I would really love to shrink or grow it or to simply move it to the middle of the screen. What I really love on iPhones is the ability to hide the clock partially behind parts of the background image and to grow it as far as you like.
The extra dark mode also isn’t really that dark: Yes - it is slightly darker, but there is still room for improvements.
What indeed is exciting: The gallery (finally) has a functional search function. Now I am able to lookup cat or baby pictures by simply performing a simple search. This is great news as the app could now really replace the Google version.
