Kastello it says my phone 3 is not supported, it’s the same build but eea in the end as a region, so no luck?

Visual bug when editing quick settings. Only happens when switching a 2×2 with 2×2 or a 4×4 with 4×4.

Kastello bruhh… the recoder app is looking like a generic app. Where’s that unique disc design? With each new major version release the SW team is removing good and unique features. @Carl have you fired the team who developed the NOS when Phone 1 launched? First, the N-DOT font was removed now this. Also, reduction of red colour from the UI especially from the quick settings is also a bad design choice. Don’t make the UI like every other generic looking UIs out there. I love Nothing because of the NothingOS.

Hi! And Thank You for the awesome software, I really expected this version of the software, since it is a beta and not a release version, early version of software are going to have problems (even released apps or software still have bugs) doesn’t exist a perfect software or product, I see many community members are disappointed with this OS but remember it is only the beginning of a New Era, IA is going to change how we can interact with OS in every smartphone, I bought Phone (3) since it was launched, I’m really satisfied that Nothing’s style maintain against other brands, “Nothing” is simple, fast, smarter (now even smarter, thank you for that) I use a lot “Essential Key” and wow, it is really impressed, I know a lot of people have trouble, doesn’t like it or press the button accidentally, but when you use the Phone (3) or 3(a) series daily it is impossible to not remember the button is there, I’m really enjoying the beta, some frame drops during YouTube PiP but I know developers are working hard to fix all bugs. For me it is a successful experience, keep doing awesome things Nothing Team. 👌

Nothing X app now is smooth, not getting many frame drops like in Nothing OS 3.5. Nothing Headphone (1) really change the “Spatial Audio”, now really sound detailed, more crispy and detailed on low and high frequencies, I don’t know why the quality sound change, same situation with Nothing Ear (2024), I noticed that both sounds louder, so great. Anyone noticed a difference with this?
Lawnchair or any 3rd party launcher now works super smooth (Nothing’s launcher fav of all, better option).
Animations are now faster and feels the “expressive” feeling of Android 16.
Quick tiles new animations are beautiful, no blur or transparency, but I really think this blur integrated on Pixel’s Android 16 drain battery faster, I think the same of the app drawer, blur is aesthetic but not necessary.
New “Modes” feature working well (expressive icons) Dim the wallpaper fav feature on this section.
App optimization new section in settings app really makes a difference, since I do the optimization the Phone (3) faster than ever, the same on Phone (2a) Plus.
Notifications still the same (no expressive animations) but I really like it, not needing super fancy animations causing my phone battery drain faster.
Once again thanks Nothing Team for doing great things. 💯

I want some visual change for example new status bar and control panel. The display tint should be removed and control panel icon should be more colourful

Can only add one essential widget. While adding the second one, there’s the message: “Reached widget limit. Please remove one,…”

The Linux Development Environment is now available through Developer Options. However, there’s a small glitch with finding it (at least for me).

How to access it:

You won’t see it by scrolling through the regular options list
Instead, use the search icon in the top right corner and search for “linux”
That’ll bring up the Developer Options where you can enable it

Once you enable the feature, you’ll see the terminal application appear in your app list as expected. However, when you try to actually install the guest VM, it’s throwing an error.

Error code: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Non-protected VMs are not supported on this device

So not properly usable/working yet.

The camera presets crash the camera app.

When I tap on the preset choosing button or I scan a code for new preset, the camera close immediately and give a not responding application window.

Jurel66 I had the same issue, the only way to resolve it was going into the Camera App settings and clearing data and cache. You’ll have to import all your custom presets though.

Extra dark mode kinda disappoint should be apply to icon and widget too gonna be very cool. Wish for more better on camera software for performance overall. Hope for more feature on official release.

First, I was excited to get my hand on the OS 4.0 beta, but now I am something between happy and disappointed.

Why isn’t it possible to move the clock on the lockscreen? I would really love to shrink or grow it or to simply move it to the middle of the screen. What I really love on iPhones is the ability to hide the clock partially behind parts of the background image and to grow it as far as you like.

The extra dark mode also isn’t really that dark: Yes - it is slightly darker, but there is still room for improvements.

What indeed is exciting: The gallery (finally) has a functional search function. Now I am able to lookup cat or baby pictures by simply performing a simple search. This is great news as the app could now really replace the Google version.

laberbla I totally agree with the Iphone clock one, its called Depth Feature.. I think they should also add Spatial wallpapers and the Liquid Glass feature also…

Please, center the clock between the elements above and below! The new clocks look unaesthetic and visually trigger OCD.An even better option is to raise the position of the widgets
