The beta is way more stable than I expected, but at the same time a little less ‘evolved’ than I had anticipated. In fact, if I hadn’t watched it update, without the patch notes I’m not sure I would have even noticed a difference at first.
That is until I tried using YouTube Premium in a floating window.
Open YT Premium and start watching a video, then go home. The performance of the UI plummets while watching a video in a floating window.
A relatively minor issue I guess, and it’s genuinely the only issue I’ve had. A very stable beta overall.
I guess the ‘extra dark’ mode could be more wide spread throughout the UI. It’s pretty much only noticeable in the settings screens but it’s a nice option tastefully implemented for those that have been asking for it.
