I have opened the “OS” page, and under “2. advanced essential notifications”:
- I have given GlyphNexus access to notifications
- I have clicked on a couple of apps for which I would like to receive Essential Notifications
This does not add anything to my the list of essential notifications in the “glyphs” section of the phone settings.
When I leave the OS page and click another app (like whatsapp, teams, etc) and toggle the box for “1. msg” I still do not get anything added to the list of essential notifications in the “glyphs” section of the phone settings.
Perhaps I have the wrong idea about what this app is supposed to do. I don’t see it doing anything for my phone, except adding the glyph toys. Are there any demo videos or something like that?
I’d be happy to share screenshots or videos of my actions but it’s not very convenient to do that via this community page. Please let me know how I can easily submit my files.
Three sidenotes:
It was not so obvious to me that I needed to go into the “OS” box to deal with settings etc, before I would be able to setup notifications. Should these “preliminary settings” be highlighted in some way for new users to find and go through them?
Enabling the glyph torch does not seem to work. The button is toggled, but the phone does not respond to shaking. The app has access to activity data.
Under Glyph toy preview, the description of each toy is black text on a dark grey box. Pretty much illegible.
