So due to a recent event that I have posted on here about if you want to know what I’m talking about you can go look at my other post it is on here, but due to that I was playing with the camera and testing what sensors actually did what so I covered the far left sensor on the phone which should be the 12 megapixel camera but I figured out that after covering it that that far left camera sensor is also the 1× 50 megapixel camera sensor while also being the 1× 12 megapixel camera sensor but as soon as you go to 2x it switches to the far right camera sensor on the phone, this indicates that the phone has 2 50 megapixel of camera sensors but they limit one depending on whether it’s the 50 megapixel setting for that sensor or the normal 12 megapixel setting, which means the normal 12 megapixel setting you can zoom digitally up to 30x on a photo but with the 50 megapixel even though it uses the same sensor that the 12 megapixel uses to digitally zoom 30x in only can optically zoom in 2x which I find odd knowing why would they limit how far you can digitally zoom in on the 50 megapixel setting when they know for a fact they can digitally zoom in way farther on a 50 megapixel than a 12 megapixel.
