I recently won a Nothing Phone 3a from the Nothing Community 100K Celebration Giveaway 🎉 (the device was shipped from London). The phone is working perfectly overall — no issues with performance or setup.
However, when I try to use the Nothing Recorder app, I get this message:
“Mic and System Recording feature is not available in your region.”
Since I’m based in India, where this feature should normally be available, I suspect the restriction might be due to the device’s region settings or firmware origin (UK/London variant).
Has anyone else faced a similar issue or found a workaround?
Would appreciate any guidance from the community or the Nothing support team on how to enable recorder features in India (either through region settings, update, or support fix).
