Correct, they work only on backed up stuff 🤝 Stay quiet about Snapseed to avoid reminding Google about its existence. Since they seem to have completely forgotten about the app, they can’t destroy it like they’ve done with so many others 😹
Oddly enough, they fixed Photos A LOT since that trash update at July 25th. Btw, this thing is quite interesting, just noticed it, look at how choppy sliding is in Nothing Gallery, and it’s skipping frames. It’s nothing but smooth in Google Photos:
Edit: Trim the clip with Nothing Gallery and upload here, Nothing’s site will say “Can’t play the video, corrupted file.” So I had to trim with Google Photos to make it work 🫠
