Currently, the Matrix animation plays regardless of screen state, which can be distracting when the phone is in use. Having it activate only when the display is off would make it feel more ambient and meaningful — matching the minimalist, notification-at-a-glance experience the Glyph Interface is designed for.
Add an option under Essential Notifications to trigger the Glyph Matrix animation only when the screen is turned off.
