Phone 3a, Phone App Auto Rotates

I started noticing this recently, especially after Google pushed its updates for the phone app.
You receive a call, just fine in Vertical.

Once answered, the phone app auto-rotates to horizontal viewing.
When trying to disconnect, it stays in horizontal viewing. Becomes a bit annoying 🙁

Not sure if you have faced this issue. But worth identifying what’s causing it.

My problem is that the phone app should not rotate unless the accelerometer sensor detects that the phone is tilted horizontally. In my case, this happens with the slightest of tilting. And it has become obvious since the update from google.

Did you really just ignore the reply from mildvex ?

Like how many braincells do you need to figure out the rotate icon when you tilt the phone ?

Just turn the auto rotate off and when you need it , just tilt the phone and a popup will come (exactly what mild just demonstrated in the video and screenshot)

That’s intended behaviour, lol. Here, on my Redmi (it has crap accelerometer so I lowered its sensitivity to an absolute minimum):

What exactly do you suggest here if you narrowed it down to Google’s “fault”? You want Nothing to “fix” Google’s proprietary app? What’s the point of this thread and how is Nothing always to blame for every existing issue and “issue”? 🤔
