Nothing C351 Cable Not Charging My Nothing Phone (2a) with CMF GaN Charger

Hey everyone,

I’ve been facing a strange issue recently and wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.

My Nothing Phone (2a) used to charge perfectly with the original Nothing USB-C to USB-C cable (C351) and my CMF 65W GaN charger.

But now, it suddenly stopped charging with that same setup.

To troubleshoot, I even bought a brand-new Nothing C351 cable, but the problem remains exactly the same.

Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:

Both Nothing C351 cables charge other devices (like earbuds, laptops, and accessories) just fine.

My Nothing Phone (2a) still charges normally with third-party Type-C cables (using the same CMF GaN charger).

I’ve tried cleaning the port, restarting the phone, and even safe mode — still no luck.

Has anyone else faced this?

Could this be a firmware or hardware-level incompatibility?

Would appreciate if the Nothing team could look into this — it’s odd that Nothing’s own cable and charger combo isn’t working with its own phone.
