Hey there - just a quick clarification. CMF firmware and updates are actually handled by a separate support group from Nothing’s core support teams. Posting about Nothing products in a CMF update thread won’t get much traction since the two operate independently. It’s usually more effective to reach out directly to Nothing support or post in the right section of the community, they’re pretty responsive when the issue is routed correctly.
As for the firmware side, software updates aren’t just for bug fixes or surface-level improvements, they’re part of maintaining hardware compatibility and optimizing performance. For instance, I recently had a sync issue where my health data stopped appearing in the Nothing X app after an update. CMF support helped push a fix that fully restored it, which shows that these things are often just communication or support routing issues rather than neglect.
Just a thought, it helps to go through the proper support channels instead of venting here. You’ll probably get a faster, more helpful resolution that way. 🙂
