After making us wait for almost a month, Nothing finally rolled out the OS 4 Beta (based on Android 16) for the Phone (3a) today.
While other Nothing phones received it last month, the 3a users were told to āwaitā because āa few new features will be there.ā
Well, the update is finally here ā and guess what? The only addition is the so-called āLock Glimpseā feature for dynamic lock screen refresh. (Useless feature - As Expected from Nothing)
Thatās it.
If this is what they made us wait a month for, itās honestly disappointing. The feature feels completely useless and adds zero real value to the user experience.
To make things worse, Nothing seems to copy-paste changelogs across devices. It looks like they donāt even have enough time or proper management to maintain consistency or communicate actual changes.
Nothing started off with a lot of promise, but now it feels like the company is slowly losing both direction and user trust.
