please add “Doble tap to turn of lock screen” option because when tap to turn on lock screen use need to tap power boton to turn off lock screen so please add this option

Nothing promised us a bloat free OS and now they’re walking straight into the same trap as Realme, Xiaomi, and Infinix…we must prevent that.

What a stupid dark mode, it is not truly pitch black dark in any app.

ChikuYadav True, there’s no such thing. This dark mode works only in Settings. I anticipated something like the true dark mode in custom roms or other UIs. This one is absolute shit. It’s a joke.

• the animation of app opening is more smoother.

• fingerprint animation is a bit changed . It’s more slow and smooth.

• the camera processing speed increased

• essential apps work good

• essential space is working good.

Feedback and Suggestions for Nothing OS 4 Beta

I’ve found a major bug in the UI related to the Quick Toggle on the lock screen.

When I disable lock screen access for the Quick Toggle and tap the Motivation Collection button, it still opens — allowing me to access the toggles. (I’ve attached a screen recording for reference.)

Major Issue:

Severe battery drain after updating to Nothing OS 4 Beta.

Before going to bed, my battery was at 50%, but by morning it had dropped to 1%.

Missing Features:

Double-tap to wake and turn off on the lock screen is missing.

Suggestions:

The new music player UI doesn’t match the Nothing design language.

The old one looked much better and felt more consistent.

Please bring back system-wide haptic feedback, similar to Pixel OS.

Introduce Nothing-specific system apps for Phone, Messages, Calculator, Browser, and Keyboard.

Personally, I prefer the Nothing red tone theme.

It would be great if you could disable Android’s dynamic color system and use a Nothing-specific color palette (like the old OxygenOS) — mainly red and black.

Add more functional utilities for Glyph lights.

WilfredRoy In the AOD the remaining battery percentage is not properly aligned, and what is lock glimpse ?? I thought Nothing OS is free of Ads. The Battery life is also not good with OS 4.0, requesting the development team to fix the same. Also when are we getting the Stable Nothing OS 4.0 Update ??
