Can they tell that even this statement can be overridden in the future , that nothing will provide bloats that can’t be uninstalled or ads that can’t be turned off..? Can they tell ?If they do , they won’t sell their products as much as they do now . So , you itself saying that this promise will also be broken? Then you are our side, friend . Nothing needs to scale up; they need more mass consumers, so some things are just unavoidable. This includes bloatware, a cluttered product line, or a less trendy image. I believe this trend is going to happen, but I really hope it unfolds at a slower pace for Nothing

chenenpei93 Yeah, I totally get where you’re coming from. Scaling up does change how companies operate — but it’s still our job as fans to keep them accountable. If we don’t speak up now, we’ll just become another brand’s cautionary tale. I’d rather slow the decline than accept it blindly.❤️‍🩹

I like minimalistic approach in Nothing’s software and I know what I was paying for when I bought 3a bcoz the competitors provide with better hardware, better display, even better screen protection, bigger and advanced (SiC) batteries with less pricing than 3a. Their plus point was software and which I liked.

Now they are adding some crap in their lock screen and even adding bloatwares. The theory that U can disable and uninstall these are rubbish. Most Chinese brand are giving bloatwares which u can uninstall and disable, why not to buy those phones which are giving us value for our money. Had I known earlier that Nothing will add such crap in their update, I would definitely not had gone with the purchase.

Iqoo, Moto & somewhat Realme provides better value but i would hv gone to One plus Nord.

Now I feel cheated with this software crap shit .😭

Yeah i get it…. Yeah ever pre install deal is not evil, it's thw buisness reality, but… The issue isn’t “one or two uninstallable apps.” It’s the precedent. It’s the slow creep from “opt-in” → “default” → “non-removable” → “ad service baked into OS.” that's EXACTLY how a bloatware free blah blah types of brand spiraled into bloatware. And also… literally have Meta Services, and a two or one more that can’t be removed — only disabled. That’s not “optional.” nor "opt in" we're getting the signs early.
