Hi all, hope you’re doing well.
I don’t know if I’m the only person experiencing this, and I’m also not 100% clear as to its cause, but recently my Ear (open) headset has started exhibiting some odd behaviour.
For last couple of weeks (or thereabouts) When I’m playing games on my Phone 3a (Pro), the audio stream exhibits random audio artifacts that sound a little bit like a dial-up modem (if anyone here still remembers those). Doesn’t seem to be an issue if I use another Bluetooth headset (neither the Headphone (1) or my JBL Soundgear Frames exhibit the same behaviour) and the artifacts also doesn’t seem to be present when I’m just listening to music.
The other bit of weirdness that’s cropped up around the same time is that I also pair my Ear (open) to an A17 iPad running OS 26 and unless I turn the Bluetooth on said tablet off and on again after I’ve paired the Ear (open) to it, the audio stream buffers and skips acts as though the headset is out of range even when the iPad is right in front of me.
Has anyone else experienced something similar, or is this something that’s isolated to me and probably needs to be fixed with a factory reset?
Thanks in advance 🙂
