I wanted to share something I noticed with Lock Glimpse. I cleared the app data, and the cache folder came back automatically right after I returned from the settings, even though I didn’t open the feature. It seems the app keeps some minimal data to function properly.
From what I’ve read, here’s a summary of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy:
All content and assets belong to Vilykke.
Users can use content for personal or educational purposes only.
Automated scraping or content analysis is not allowed.
The company is not responsible for any issues resulting from using their services.
The Terms are governed by Hong Kong law.
The app may access certain device info, location, voice inputs, camera usage, and browsing activity.
Data could be combined with information from affiliated or authorized partners.
Data may be transferred to servers in other regions.
Collected data may be used to provide personalized content or services.
Data may be shared with third-party analytics, marketing, or authorities when required.
According to Nothing’s official statement, data collection only happens when the feature is actively used. From my observation, the app still keeps some minimal background activity even when the feature is turned off. Has anyone else noticed this or knows more about it?
